Of course one of the hottest raves right now in the beauty community is the latest Morphe drop - 35O2, a limited edition eyeshadow palette to celebrate the 2 year anniversary of their iconic 35O.
Unfortunately, the palette is initially released in the US, meaning us unlucky sods in the UK have had to wait a month later to get our hands on this beauty! Me being too tempted, I decided to get my hands on it by ordering from the Morphe website. I did pay full price for it - £23 which, still, isn't bad at all, but now being released on Beauty Bay for the exact same price makes it better that I still got my hands on it earlier for the same price!

Now on to the actual product itself. So 35O two years ago left such big impression on the beauty community being one of the first eyeshadow palettes offering an amazing quality and quantity everyone desired, whilst still having a fairly reasonable price point, so can't complain right? Then came along 35O2, and I'll be honest and say it is hands down the most stunning palette I've laid my eyes on.
When looking at the comparison between the original 35O and the latest 35O2, the original palette has the standard warm shades, which are still beautiful, but are definately more subtle compared to the new release which is much more vibrant, rich and not to forget pigmented. One thing that definately drew my attention to the new 35O2 was that it has a nice rich matte black - which I feel not many warm palettes have, as they mainly contain the standard shades of reds, browns and oranges.

This palette, unlike the original 35O has names written on a plastic sheet over the shadows when you first open the palette. I personally love the idea of naming the shades, its a huge advantage for remembering exact shade combinations for future reference. One thing I would criticize would be that I'd prefer if the names were on the inside or back of the palette, just incase the plastic gets misplaced.
As mentioned in the name 35O/35O2, both palettes have 35 different shades included in an array of different finishes - matte, metallic, satin, and glitters. The shadows are all INSANELY pigmented and blendable which is sometimes an issue with shimmer shades as they tend to be quite powdery, but in this case, the metallics are pigmented and buttery just as much as the intense mattes.
With it being winter, I tend to stick to warm shades so this palette is perfect for me, and will be getting a tonne of use out of it! If you are a warm toned shadow lover like me, I would highly reccomend getting your hands on this palette - it definitely doesn't dissapoint!
